“Helping you quiet the noise, reclaim your balance, and feel in control of your life again.”
Have you noticed that your thoughts are becoming louder and harder to handle? Is stress in your life becoming heavier by the day? Sometimes, you just want to turn off the noise and enjoy some peace. Learning how to quiet your thoughts, manage your stress, and reconnect with yourself is a great way to find that balance you're seeking. Having a variety of tools and techniques that work specifically for you and your needs will help you feel in control in your life once again.
Beginning therapy can be intimidating and overwhelming. You can come into the room just as you are, bringing all of your authentic experiences and beliefs with you, and trust that you will find support and encouragement. In session we will determine your goals and build a plan to help you reach those goals. Your session will be a place that you are safe to be exactly who you are, no need to hide anything. We will dig into conversations that may seem hard, but they will help you overcome the hurdles in front of you!

TRAINING & EXPERIENCE
Prior to and while pursuing my counseling career, I have spent six years as a school bus driver — an experience that shaped me more than people might expect. Every day, I showed up as a calm, consistent presence for kids and teens. I learned quickly that children and teenagers open up when they feel safe and when they know you're genuinely patient with them, no matter what kind of day they're having. That foundation has carried directly into my approach to therapy: meeting people where they are, without judgment, and being someone they can count on. My person-centered approach in therapy aligns naturally with who I am.

JUST FOR FUN!
I love to be outside, doing anything from taking a walk through the park, reading on the porch swing, or even doing yard work! Summer is my favorite time of year and I get to the pool as much as I can! I have two dogs who keep me busy, even as they creep into their old age. I enjoy quiet weekends at home watching movies as well as game nights with friends spent laughing! I am a huge Disney movie lover, and Lilo and Stitch is my favorite movie!
