Autumn Gibson, Intern Therapist
DEPRESSION | ANXIETY & STRESS | LIFE CHANGES
My goal is to work with individuals who are navigating change, growth, and the often complex process of understanding themselves more fully. My aim centers on helping people feel safe enough to slow down, reflect, and explore their thoughts and emotions with curiosity and compassion. I believe meaningful change begins when people are seen, understood, and supported.
I bring over 15 years of experience working with children and adults with developmental disabilities, with emphasis on individuals on the autism spectrum. This background has shaped my collaborative, strengths-based approach and my focus on emotional regulation, coping skills, communication, and goal setting. I am transitioning into mental health counseling to support individuals in a more holistic way and I’m especially interested in working with anxiety and trauma.
My approach is integrative, relational, and client-centered. I believe you are the expert of your own life, and my role is to walk alongside you with authenticity, care, and curiosity. I strive to create a calm, supportive environment where you feel comfortable being yourself.

JUST FOR FUN!
I love reading, practicing yoga, spending time with my dog Dudley, and trying new craft projects. I enjoy exploring new restaurants around Indianapolis and cherishing moments with my family. I’m also the proud godmother to three wonderful children, and one of my dreams is to visit all of the national parks.
