KIDS, TEENS & TWENTY-SOMETHINGS | STRESS & ANXIETY | DEPRESSION | LIFE CHANGES
“Helping children, teens, and young adults build emotional resilience and self-awareness in a space where they feel safe, seen, and supported.”
I specialize in therapy for kids, teens and young adults finding their way. The most meaningful work I do is helping people feel safe enough to be themselves and brave enough to grow.
To the parent reading this:
You’ve likely found yourself wondering if your child is okay. Maybe they’re more anxious, withdrawn, angry, or overwhelmed than usual. Maybe they’re struggling with friendships, big emotions, or putting way too much pressure on themselves. Whether your child is 8 or 18, it can be heartbreaking to watch them lose their spark or confidence — and even harder not knowing how to help. That’s where I come in.
I work with children and teens to help them better understand themselves, regulate their emotions, and build healthy relationships — all within a safe, supportive therapeutic space. I bring a engaging and compassionate presence, meeting kids where they are while gently helping them grow and stretch. Whether through play, creativity, or conversation, therapy can give your child the tools they need to feel more secure, more capable, and more like themselves again.
And to the twenty-something reading this:
You don’t have to have it all figured out. Being in your twenties can feel exciting and confusing all at once. Maybe you’re feeling lost, stuck, overwhelmed by expectations, or unsure of who you really are. Maybe you’ve checked all the “right” boxes and still don’t feel like yourself. Therapy is a place where you don’t have to pretend or perform — just be honest. I’m here to support you in finding clarity, setting boundaries, managing anxiety, and building a life that actually feels like yours.

Every child, teen, and young adult is different — so I don’t take a one-size-fits-all approach. I use developmentally appropriate, evidence-based methods to create a space where clients feel safe and empowered to grow. That might mean child-centered play therapy for younger kids, reflective and creative conversations with teens, or deeper identity and life work with emerging adults. I draw from Child-Centered Play Therapy (CCPT), Child-Parent Relationship Therapy (CPRT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Reality Therapy (RT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
JUST FOR FUN!
I moved to Indianapolis from Kentucky in 2023 and have loved getting to know the city — especially the local thrift shops and concert venues! On quieter days, you’ll find me at home with my cat, Olive, relaxing with a good fantasy novel or spending time coloring. This year, I’m looking forward to traveling more and continuing to explore all the city has to offer.
